BLUE WATER DREAMING – SOUTHERN MOZAMBIQUE

Freedive Photographer, spearfishermen and filmmaker Graeme Duane takes us on a personal spearfishing adventure to one of the most remote Blue Water hunting location on earth: southern Mozambique. This video offers some excellent footage encapsulating blue water hunting at its finest. The location: “The Pinnacle” attracts a wide variety of pelagic species, manta rays and sharks owing to the crystal clear water and marine rich environment.

Local spearfishermen and nationally selected Freediver: Barry Skinstad hones his skills on shooting Giant Trevally (Ignobilis Kingfish) Kakaap, Spanish mackerel, Indian Mirror Fish, to mention but a few species. Awesome footage of Marlin in blue water and a shark-feeding extravaganza are just a few snippets in this video. A must for all Blue-Water hunting enthusiasts.

Jock Ferreira, an experienced spearfishermen and freediver takes us on his underwater experience off the Eastern Cape – South Africa. This video offers an excellent insight into spearfishing in this region, in particular hunting in poor visibility and shark infested waters using the electronic shark repellent (or Shark POD). Interesting fish species endemic to South Africa, like the white and black Musselcracker, makes interesting viewing.
